HANOVER, NH - (July 20, 2015) The Hopkins Center for the Arts at Dartmouth College today announced the
titles of the remaining shows offered in the Hop's summer Free For All summer series. Included are two
free movies including
Toy Story (July 23rd) and
Mary Poppins (August 13) and a performance by the
Gordon Webster Septet (August 6th).
Thursday, July 23 ~ 6:30pm: The first FREE FOR ALL film is Toy Story, in Spaulding Auditorium!
Thursday, August 6 ~ 4:30pm: The final FREE FOR ALL concert features the go-to swing band for dancers in the Northeast, the Gordon Webster Septet on the Dartmouth Green (or the Spaulding Auditorium at 5:30 pm in the event of rain.) Babyfaced and ridiculously dexterous on the keyboards. Webster is riding and driving the new wave of social dancing in millennials. Free Lindy Hop lessons at 4:30!
Thursday, Aug 13 ~ 6:30pm: FREE FOR ALL wraps up with a free showing of Mary Poppins! Let "A Spoonful of Sugar" take the sting out of shopping for school supplies!
