Cog Hosts 3rd Annual Fireworks Event

The 3rd Annual Fireworks Event to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of the North Country.

The Mount Washington Cog Railway will be hosting the 3rd Annual Fireworks Event to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of the North Country on Saturday, July 22nd at Marshfield Base Station. The event will kick off with a three-hour train ride to the summit of Mount Washington departing at 4:30 pm. Upon return to the Base Station, there will be a bbq dinner with DJ, lots of activities for kids of all ages and prize raffles. At dusk the NH Pyrotechnic Association will put on a spectacular firework display for all to enjoy. Visitors can come for the train ride or just the evening activities.

The Boys and Girls Club of the North Country is a non-profit organization with a mission to provide a safe and positive place for all children of the North Country with the guidance of caring adults. All event proceeds will benefit the BGCNC. The New Hampshire Pyrotechnic Association is comprised of both professional and amateur technicians who conduct safety training and mentoring of new firework professionals, some of which are those people performing local and regional firework displays.

The Cog Railway invites the local community and the general public to attend. All proceeds from the event go directly to the Boys and Girls Club of the North Country. Package price for train ride, music, bbq and fireworks show, $99 per adult, $59 per child 12-4 (3 under are free). Event minus the train ride: $20 per adult, $10 per child 12-4 (3 under are free)

For additional information about the event, visit thecog.com or to book your package, contact the Cog Railway at 603.278.5404 or toll-free at 800.922.8825.

The Cog Railway is located on 3168 Base Station Road, Mount Washington, NH 03589, 6 miles from Route 302 and Bretton Woods.
