Plymouth, NH - Bank of New Hampshire and Community Guaranty Savings Bank, together, recently surprised the kids at the Pemi Youth Center with their donation of a flat screen TV and new couch cushions.
"As local banks, we are upholding our community commitment through small donations such as this to help make a difference in the lives of local kids," stated Vickie Routhier, EVP - Chief Retail Banking & Marketing Officer for Bank of New Hampshire. "The Pemi Youth Center provides a vital service to the area to ensure that kids have a safe place to go after school and at no cost to families."
Pemi Youth Center's mission is to provide a safe and welcoming environment where youth may gather outside of school and gain a sense of community, belonging and self-esteem. They offer an empowerment program during after school hours for youth ages 10-17 at absolutely no cost.
They support, encourage and empower the youth of our community to believe in their unique abilities, to work together in making this world a better place, and to live their dreams today.
"We are so grateful for the support of Bank of New Hampshire and Community Guaranty Savings Bank," stated Jessica Dutille, Executive Director for Pemi Youth Center. "These gifts help make our space a welcoming environment for the youth of our community to learn and grow."
