Franconia Airport is owned and operated by the Franconia Inn, located across the road. This is the closest
general aviation airport to many of the northern White Mountain ski resorts. The airport has become a popular
destination for soaring: sailplane rides and lessons are available from late May through October by the Franconia Soaring Association
There are several lodging choices in town and nearby, and several of the White Mountains' favorite attractions are within a half
hour's drive. If you need a rental, call Enterprise, Littleton office, 603-444-3471. If you'd like to stay closer to North Conway, consider Eastern Slopes Regional Airport (KIZG).
